레이저를 포함한 빛은 생체조직과 다양한 상호작용을 하므로 영상과 치료 등에 응용되어 왔고, 본 연구실에서는 고해상도 광학영상 기술인 고성능 two-photon microscopy (TPM)와 optical coherence tomography (OCT)를 개발하며 이를 활용하여 현재 해결되지 못한 병변의 기작, 진단, 치료 연구 등을 수행하고 있다.
