In the field of tissue engineering, which aims to regenerate artificial organs, we are conducting research on manufacturing artificial scaffolds based on mechanical engineering, development of bio-inks, and 3D tissue/organ printing technology. The artificial scaffold is an artificial matrix that provides an environment for the growth of cells and geometric support of the missing tissue, and has biocompatibility and biodegradability as basic conditions. In this laboratory, microscopic 3D processing technology by 3D printing and computer aided design & manufacturing (CAD/CAM) system is applied to the production of artificial scaffolds, so that internal/external shape control is free and various biomaterials can be used. And it is evaluated as the world's leading level.
